When Did You Last Prioritize Your Self-Care?
Make a Difference in Your Life This Year With the 28 Days of Loving Yourself Challenge
Declutter Your Life
You may wonder what clutter has to do with self-care and self-love. Clutter fills up your mind and physical space in a negative way. Having clutter is like telling yourself that you do not matter.
Prioritize Your Self-Love & Self-Care
It's easy to focus on the needs and wants of everyone else and forget yourself. You matter! And so does your self-love and self-care. We created this Challenge to help high- achieving women prioritize their needs and wants.
Get More Focused
Time can pass by very fast and you'll lose out on life if you don't focus on what matters most to you. The busyness of life can overwhelm you. It's important to have a clear plan for your life.

What Makes Your Heart Sing?
What do you really love but have made yourself believe that it's no longer worth pursuing or that it's not possible for you? When was the last time you prioritized yourself and your self-care?
What makes you happy? Spending time with friends? Travel? Reading a novel? Spending time at the beach? A hobby like photography? A nice and relaxing bath in the evening after work?
Self-love and self-care are not selfish. Make yourself a priority in this 28-day self-love and self-care challenge...probably for the first time in your life!

Welcome to the 28 Days of Loving Yourself Challenge!
Prioritize Yourself, Get Clarity, Increase Your Energy Levels, and Become More Focused
The Challenge Begins on 1st February 2025
"I am benefitting greatly from the program and I find myself reflecting on previous lessons each week. I loved the decluttering lesson as it so happened I was actually doing so. It made me make a move and I sorted out clothes, made a call, and donated to a women’s charity at the end of week two. Very exciting to be a part of this program overall as its aligning alot with the current season of life that I am in. Thanks Caroline for sharing this with us. I know for sure that I will continue to interact, grow and learn more from you in the very near future and going forward. Asante sana." 🙂

Meet Your Facilitator
Hi. I'm Caroline Gikonyo and I'm your facilitator during the 28 Days of Loving Yourself Challenge. I'm a Transformational Life Coach and have been helping high-achieving women achieve extraordinary results in their lives, careers and businesses since 2011.
In my work, I've found that many high achievers don't have a regime for self-care and self-love. They set very high bars for themselves and work on their goals. However, they still struggle and beat themselves up even when they surpass their goals.
I've been there and know how hard it is to remove focus from everything and everyone around you and put yourself first. The reality is that, if you don't make this shift, with time, you will run out of steam, resulting in overwhelm, stress and burnout.
On top of all these...December is generally a stressful month for many working women, and more so for working mums. Self-care gets thrown out of the door as focus moves to family and the holidays. Then comes January when you go back to work tired and in need of a holiday in order to recover from the holidays!
The 28 Days of Loving Yourself Challenge is designed to help you take a step back in February, and create a system of self-care that you can replicate on your own in the future. After taking care of family and getting over the January stress, you surely deserve to focus on yourself!

Is This You?
Would You Answer YES To Any Of These Descriptions?
You're tired of putting everyone before yourself. You've done it for so long now that you don't know how to change. And when you try to change, you meet resistance from other people.
You find it hard to set aside time for yourself and your self-care because you're too busy with work and other commitments. Self-care now feels very selfish in light of your commitments.
Overwhelm (and sometimes overwork) become normal - at work, at home, in your social spaces...everywhere! You can't remember the last time you sat down to have a meal without feeling rushed!
You feel as if you need a holiday in order to recover from the Christmas, New Year, and back-to-school/work rush.
Life has become mundane and you feel as if days just bleed into each other. You want more and better quality of life.
There was a time when self-care was a priority. Now, it means going to the salon, buying new clothes and accessories, and such.
What Topics Are Covered in the Challenge?
To kick off the challenge, you will start by clearing clutter. Clutter accumulates very fast in all areas of life, not just the physical ones. This week, you will clear clutter from your home, work, and relationships. This will clear the way for you to focus on self-love the rest of the month. Throw out what is not necessary or needed to create way for a more fulfilling life!
Self-love is not selfish at all. It simply means that you take care of yourself so that you can be the best version of yourself with the people around you. Isn't that a great goal to aim for? This week, you will discover strategies on how to love yourself fully in order to love others genuinely.
Week 3 is a pivotal week as you learn how passion, energy, and commitment relate to one another. You cannot fully commit to what you are not passionate about. And your level of passion and commitment determines how much energy you are willing to use or devote to someone or something.
As the old saying goes, if you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there. This week, you will move on to creating a vision of what you want your life, career or business to look and feel like. This will keep you focused on the things that are important for you. Focus will also help eliminate procrastination and keep clutter in check as you move forward.
The Challenge is held LIVE in February each year and we meet on Tuesdays for Q&A Calls (1:00pm to 2:00pm EAT/GMT+3). This is where you can connect with other Challenge participants, ask questions about the week's lesson, and share your experiences each week. In this way, you get to implement what you're learning each week and meet with like-minded women and other experts in the Q&A calls.

What You'll Get
You get a lesson, tip, or resource daily for 28 days
Reflection Question
Each week has a question to help you reflect on the week’s topic. The questions may seem easy at first glance, but reflecting on them over time will reveal hidden depths and amazing insights.
Action
Reflection alone won’t change your habits. The reflection question will be boosted with a simple activity that you can complete in a few days or over the course of the week.
Motivation
Start the week positively with the Monday morning quote. Also, take advantage of the weekly Q&A Call on Tuesdays to share, learn more, and get your questions answered.
Weekend Planning
Every Saturday, you will get a tip to help you plan for the next week. Unlike regular planning tips, this time you’ll know how to include self-care into your planning for the next week. The aim is to make self-care a habit.
Tools and Resources
You will receive a specific tool or resource each week to help you solidify what you’ve learnt. Some of the tools will be created specifically for this challenge, while others are found on the New Dawn Coaching blog.
Way Forward
Each week has a clear call to action. If there’s a way I can help you, I’ll tell you. If the week’s lesson requires skills outside my expertise, I’ll give you directions to the best of my ability. You won’t be left hanging without direction.

Frequently Asked Questions
This Challenge is for you if you...
You don't need much time. Just read the day's email which contains the tip or resource for the day and then spare some time during the day to implement what you've learnt.
However, you will get the most from the Challenge if you give it 15-30 minutes each day and also connect with other participants in the weekly Q&A session.
Yes, it does, and sometimes in the most amazing and unexpected ways.
For example, when my former business partners and I set up the first Challenge in February 2018, we had come together from our individual coaching practices to form Biashara 360. Going through the challenge taught us so much about ourselves and our priorities. It literally changed our lives and businesses.
By the end of that Challenge, each of us had crystal clear clarity about what we needed to do personally and business-wise. The end result of our taking part in the challenge was having to make some tough decisions about our partnership.
We took action over the course of 2018 and separated business-wise. The best thing is that as a result of working through the challenge together, we remained friends, even after dissolving our business partnership.
I also personally take the Challenge each year, and every time I do so, I get insights that go beyond self-care and self-love.
That's the story behind the challenge and I'm eagerly looking forward to having you join me and other women this year as we work through the Challenge.
